I get a lot of questions that indicate many of you
are still confused about the system you need in place to market successfully on the Internet. The system is simple,
it only has 3 components, but it has to have all 3 components to be
effective.
First: you have some method of
driving traffic to your web-site.
This can be natural search engine ranking, using the Pay = Per = Click sites,
placing ads in magazines, mailing postcards,
joint venture, using an affiliate program, etc.
Second: you need an email capture form on your web-site that
encourages a visitor
to leave their name and email address.
You should offer them something for this. Tell them that you will be sending them
product tips, special prices, etc. or, you could offer them a free report.
Third: you need to start a sequence of emails to them.
The emails would give them information about the products,
safety tips,
maybe a story about how the products were used.
You can do this manually, but it's a lot easier if you use an auto-responder.
If you are driving traffic to your web-site and do not have the email capture form and follow up in place, you are
literally throwing your advertising dollars away.
